Full-time Research Assistant for Professor Leila Agha
Professors Leila Agha (Harvard) are seeking a full-time research assistant for a renewable one-year term. The job will involve collaboration on research projects in applied microeconomics focusing on hospital quality, maternal health, and Medicaid policy. Research topics may include studying the efficiency of diagnostic decision-making at hospitals, and investigating geographic variation in maternal health in the Medicaid program. The research assistant will assist with literature reviews, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and research management, in close collaboration with faculty mentor and other members of the research team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background and communication skills, with a preference for candidates with substantial programming experience. A long-term interest in pursuing research in economics or health care policy is valued. Prior work experience in research or industry is a plus but not required.
